Product descriptionMagtration® System 8Lx is a fully automated nucleic acid extraction instrument with a mechanism of separating magnetic beads by Magtration® technology. Magtration® System 8Lx can process a large sample volume, and simultaneously processing up to 8 samples is possible. Magtration® System 8Lx enables direct DNA extraction from blood in collecting tubes. This minimizes the risk of contamination; also large amount of DNA can be extracted. Users can be operating the Magtration System 8Lx instrument by touch screen. This easy operation needs only three steps to start, select a protocol, and load pre-filled reagents and samples, and press run. The risk of cross contamination is eliminated by the usage of pre-filled reagents and single use disposables. The system has a UV lamp installed in it, and it enables disinfection of the inside before and after extraction operation. Additionally, the bar code reader equipment enables managing of the sample identification, the elution tube and the reagents and provides traceability of the extraction step. This extremely robust instrument allows the isolation of nucleic acid within a short period of time with a true walk away technology. Features
