Product DescriptionMagDEA® RNA 100 (GC) is a dedicated reagent for extracting total RNA from sample for automated nucleic acid extraction system Magtration® Systems 6GC, 12GC and 12GC PLUS. The pre-filled reagents cartridge contains all needed for extraction and purification of Total RNA from homogenates of samples such as cells and tissues are previously placed in a single reagent cartridge, as they are separated. The reagents cartridge enables without special skill to operate extraction easily used with recommended 2-propanol and dedicated consumables. The high purity total RNA extracted can be used directly in the followed step such as PCR, RT-PCR and real-time PCR reaction. In addition, all consumables (tips, tip holders and screw cap tubes) needed in extraction are included in the reagents kit so that extraction can be done after purchase. |

Total RNAs were extracted from mouse liver and mouse kidney by using MagDEA® RNA 100 (GC) and Magtration® System 12GC. One-step RT-PCR reaction was carried out by using the extracted total RNA as template and DICE (manufactured by Takara Bio Inc.) and the presence of the amplification products was examined by agarose gel electrophoresis. As a result, there were observed stabilized amplification products from all extracted total RNAs. (Fig.1) |
